What happens on this page
depends on you and your colleagues!
"The 3 + 3 Project" offers one curricular model for empowering and engaging our learners and bringing to life the Gifting Framework; there are plenty of other conceptions to be explored. The JEC hopes that 3+3 offers a starting point for those working in part-time, synagogue programs to better address the needs of what some are now calling Gen-C (Generation-Covid). How can we guide our children's journey to becoming, belonging and behaving in dialogue with Jewish tradition?
The pandemic taught us many lessons, including the power of collegial sharing. Our individual educational programs were able to rise to the occasion because Jewish educators reached out to help each other with wisdom, materials, and the always-welcome virtual hug. The JEC anticipates that most of the in-process sharing and support will happen on the "JEC-If Not Now, When?" Facebook page. But if you have something a bit more global to share - an outline, a detailed newsletter/bulletin article, a curriculum guide, a video, whatever - scroll to the bottom and fill out the "I'm Ready to Share!!" form. Someone from the JEC will be in touch to learn more.
